Unbelievable dress. So much wonderful detail and thoughtfulness. Let's get to it.
Antonio Marras frock. 1940's-inspired. Wine-hued top and black skirt and back. Slightly stretchy. Top boasts long short sleeves and shoulder padding. Triple downward seams from shoulders. Bust darts. Side invisible zipper. Green pleated asymmetrical sash at waist which encircles the torso just so. Corral red underside. On the right side the sash is cut into a peplum, skirt shape. On the left it is looped, and falls to the hem of the skirt. It has a contrasting fabric from the frock; pickier, thicker. Buttoned (three buttons) at left side. Pencil skirt, darts from waist to hips. Lined, back kick pleat. Back is black with wine yoke at shoulders and sleeves. Curved seam from back of shoulders to hem. Keyhole opening with buttoned nape closure. Marked a size 44. Made in Italy.
